Jacobs GmbH launches largest investment to date

After intensive planning, Jacobs GmbH, Rödermark, will begin construction of a new company building this spring. The land purchase agreement was signed at the end of January.

After various capacity expansions at the old location and a significant expansion of storage capacity in Jacobs' Italian warehouses in recent years, the growth opportunities at the old location had been exhausted.

“We re-analyzed all work processes and then decided to build a new facility in order to optimally map all processes,” explains Michael Jacobs, Managing Director of Jacobs GmbH.

In the search for a suitable property that is ideally accessible for both customers and employees, they found what they were looking for in the neighboring community of Eppertshausen.

“More and more customers are finding their way to us when planning their new collections, as the on-site presentation makes the selection much easier for our customers,” says co-managing director Bernd Jacobs.

The company's central location in the heart of the Rhine-Main region is a great advantage here. Both warehouse and office capacity have already been nearly doubled to accommodate the increased business.

The new headquarters will now allow for further growth.
