Ladies and Gentlemen
Due to the broadcast of the ZDF report on leather and the resulting uncertainty on the market, we would like to provide you with some information about our leather production.
Our raw materials come exclusively from developed economies. Conditions like those depicted in the film, which is currently being broadcast on television and online, are completely unknown there.
Our entire production takes place in Europe, almost exclusively in Italy.
A controlled production process with regard to working methods and pollutants is therefore a matter of course.
All leathers comply with the latest REACH standard, the Azo Dye Regulation, are free of chromium VI and comply with current German and European limit values and regulations.
As a traditional family business, we act in harmony with people, animals and the environment.
We think in generations. Long-term partnerships with our customers and suppliers, as well as a stable team of employees, some of whom have been with us for decades, underscore this.
If you have any further questions, we will of course be happy to assist you at any time.
Best regards
Bernd Jacobs and Michael Jacobs
Managing Director
